Women’s Peace and Security
Women at the centre of sustainable peace.
ENAF identifies grassroots women as the most effective leaders in peacebuilding and conflict prevention. Guided by the UN Women, Peace, and Security agenda, we establish networks of Women Peace Champions who lead community dialogues and identify early warning signs of conflict in informal settlements and conflict-prone areas.
In 2025, our network grew to over 900 peace actors across eight counties, reaching over 1.6 million people with critical anti-violence messaging. By training local administrators on legal frameworks and engaging diverse stakeholders like Boda Boda riders, we are fostering social cohesion and creating a culture of non-violence and respect.
